I never write reviews for anything, but couldn’t help myself. I’ve had this cooker for 2 years. and used it at least three or four times a week. It performs flawlessly. I called the company about the pressure on high and was told that it is actually 15psi. I have found this to be true as I have checked it with my stove top model by cooking like meals using the same directions. Amazing one pot cooking. I brown chicken add the required amount of pasta and seasonings and have dinner in 12 minutes. I actually stop complete strangers in stores and Costco to talk to them about the great advantages of this cooker. I purchased this for all my children and they love, love, love it, as do I. PS… just purchased one for my first granddaughter as a wedding gift. It’s a generational thing in our family. Happy cooking.

Pressure cooker sat on shelf for at least a year – so the warranty is now useless. Used the pressure cooker less than ten times. It quit, completely shut down, mid-cycle, on a roast. The control panel wont light or respond. Tried several different power outlets to ensure that problem was localized. Service Department was useless and while I could take it to a electronics repair store, it would likely cost more to repair than to replace. Perhaps this is the business model they’re hoping for, except that I won’t replace it with a Nesco product.
